REEF SERVICES

Measuring and predicting the consequences of climate change on coral reef ecosystems and the services they provide

REEF SERVICES is a research project led by the CRIOBE (France) – Centre de Recherches Insulaires et Observatoire de l’Environnement – together with other research institutions. The main goal of the project is to collect important ecological data to understand how climate change is impacting coral reef ecosystem processes and key services (e.g. food provisioning, coastal protection) to humans. Within REEF SERVICES, our group is working on hard coral calcification and its role for coastal protection.
